Notes

A slightly watered‑down take on the original Leffe Blonde (the classic sits at 6.6%, while the UK variant drops to 6.0%). AB InBev claims this was done to “better suit UK drinkers,” but let’s be honest — it’s almost certainly about paying less alcohol duty. That said, it’s still a decent option for when standard lagers feel too boring and you’re not ready to jump into a 10% Belgian monster.

You get the familiar vanilla and caramel notes, a touch of bitterness, and medium carbonation. Think of it as a “baby Belgian” — the stepping stone before you graduate to something like a St. Bernardus Abt 12.

Nothing particularly special, nothing offensive either. It’s widely available in both the UK and the USA, and priced like any other mass‑produced beer.

(Note: the USA gets the proper 6.6% Belgian‑brewed version.)
